The Royal Albert Hall

The royal family has always been something that many love. It is a family that many love to keep in the loop with and honor as well. So, it was no surprise that the Royal Albert Hall was to look like the concept of the Central Hall that Prince Albert had. This hall would help the people of England to understand and fully accept the arts. This stands in the South Kensington Estate and surrounded by a ton of museums and other things that offer a way to learn about the arts.

The doors to this hall had opened in 1871. It is considered to be a Grade I building. Since they opened the doors, there have been many uses as this can have many venues going all at one time. This had other purposes as well. Some used it to have conferences and other things of the sort. They also used this to have award ceremonies. This is said to be a registered charity. Financially it is self sufficient, but this charity was donated to the people. Due to the fact that it pays its own, it does not get any money from the government.

There have been many famous people who have performed here. In fact, there is a long list of those who have performed. Some that you might know have been Frank Sinatra, Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, and many others. There have been famous speakers that have used this as well such as the Majesty the Queen, Winston Churchill, Bill Clinton, and many other world famous people. There are many others who have performed here as well.
