Thommy
Too many people can remember the rock band The Who. There were many who loved this band. The music that they produced was phenomenal. This is to say the least about this album. However, the most well known album that they were in concert halls playing this was the fourth album that they have put out.
Tommy (The Who)
The fourth album that The Who has put out was Tommy. For many, they thought this was very colorful. The English population where The Who originated was said to be a new genre and be a part of the new generation. While some thought they were a masterpiece, there were others who just didn’t know what to think about them. However, many saw how welcomed to many different concert halls and so forth. They rocked out and there were tons of people who loved this.
They even debated about what this could be called as they took center stage to make a production using this. Some say it was a rock opera. However, there are others that say that this was something other than this. Many thought it was something different but these types of half concerts, half plays were very popular during this time. There was no dialogues and other things that make it so that it can’t be considered a rock opera. Due to the popularity, in 2003 this was named as number 96 when you look at Rolling Stones list of the most favorite. This was 96 out of a 500 which isn’t bad when you stop to think about it with having been on a list of 500. The work was something that many weren’t accustomed to but many however loved how it was created and put together.
